"Call of the Sea" [Call of the Lycan Series, Book 1] by Michelle M. Pillow

My Book Summary : When Ceana was younger, she saved her brother from an evil sea witch, in doing so she was cursed into immorality, turned into a mermaid, with only the reprieve of being on land during the full moon. Now, hundreds of years later and she has lost all hope of finding the one person who will be able to break her curse. So, when she saves Ian, the Prince of his werewolf clan, from the dark waters of the ocean (again and during the full moon) she expects to spend the night with him and then go back to the water when morning arrives.

However, Ian has been waiting for Ceana for as long as he can remember, even though he never knew whom she was he only remembered a bit about what she looked like. Now that he has her, he doesn't want to let her go. Yet convincing himself that what he feels for her is true (after such a short time in knowing her) is hard, especially when he has one of his brothers telling him that he shouldn't believe what she says to be true. Then there's the case of one of his previous lovers wanting to break them up and an evil sea witch who plans to do anything and everything to keep Ceana within her grasp.

My Book Review : 4.5 out of 5 stars!! This is one HOT and STEAMY fairytale!! Even though this is a quick read, it still brings you into the heart of the romance between the main characters! The characters were great and I loved Ian's brothers!

And just because I really want to say this ... I'll say in my mind, in this book there are two evil bitches instead of just one!! *hehee*

The only thing that could have been improved was the ending a bit, as it seemed a bit rushed to me. Otherwise, it's a great book!! I recommend anyone who like a quick, steamy, romance.

Book Teaser(s) :
Closing his eyes, he concentrated on his brothers, and called to them, Roark, James!
Ugh, yeah, I'm up! James' voice answered. Even though it was in his head, Ian knew his brother had been sleeping.
Argh, what is it? I'm busy, Roark complained. And both of them are gorgeous.
I need you, Ian interrupted. Now.
Are you hurt? James demanded.
No, just come quinkly. And bring a change of clothes. Ian touched Ceana's face, willing her to look at him. She didn't. But, at least she was breathing. That was something. ~ within Chapter 4
