Second Sentence Saturday: Rock Strong | @virnadepaul #BookTeaser #RomanceNovels

SECOND SENTENCE SATURDAY is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by Jess of From Me to You ... Video, Photography, & Book Reviews. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
  • Grab the novel/novella your currently reading or previously read
  • Open to the first page of Chapter 1 or its Prologue
  • Share the SECOND sentence from that page
  • Share the novel/novella's title & its author, so that other participants can add that novel to their TBR Lists if they want

MY Second Sentence Saturday :

"Rock Strong" [Rock Candy Series, Book 1] by Virna DePaul - [Amazon Book Link]

Needless to say, it's not what I pictured myself doing either.

PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT to share either the link to your own SECOND SENTENCE SATURDAY post or share the sentence in a comment here (if you don’t have a blog). Thank You!

  1. This meme will be hard to take off with so many book memes out there. You're coming off the cusp of The Friday 56, my meme, which has been around for years and years, as well as Tuesday Teaser, First Lines Friday and more. Maybe be so original that you create a meme we haven't seen before.
    Good luck!

    1. Good thing I don't care if it takes off or not .. it is created (a few years ago) so I can promote the books I have read more AND have first rate content on my blog. But thank you for stopping by.

  2. I'm reading Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys, and the second line is: "My conscience mocked me, picking fights like a petulant child." This a great meme. Thanks for sharing.
